S&P Global is hiring for the Software Engineer, Solutions Engineering!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Be part of multiple agile teams. Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to analyze system requirements.
• Adheres to S&P Global Values (Discovery, Partnership, and Integrity).
• Strong background in software engineering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project alignment and agile practice adherence.
• Be a change champion, can drive initiatives, take ownership, and see it to realization. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience.
• Understanding and some working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (Agile Preferred).
• Strong Programming and current hands-on development skills with C# and Javascript.
• Strong RDMS and NoSQL concepts and ability to read/manage data.
• Understanding of REST Architectural style, OpenAPI Specification, and API-first Development.
• Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS or Azure) and some familiarity with DevOps tools.
• Be resourceful and can-do attitude.
