Micron is hiring for the role of Software Engineer - IT Sales!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Create or modify custom objects and integrate web and desktop applications with legacy/ERP systems.
• Organize fields, custom links, and components by modifying page and search layouts.
• Configure custom objects with picklists, lookups, junction objects, validation rules, and formula fields.
• Manage security settings, including roles, profiles, and field-level security.
• Enhance Salesforce applications through automation tools like Lightning Flow, Workflow, Process Builder, and Approval Processes.
• Create datasets and manage data loading using tools such as Data Loader and Import Wizard.
• Collaborate with Sales and business teams to understand capability needs and improve efficiency.
• Work within cross-functional teams (Salesforce, SAP, PMO) to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Participate in Agile or Kanban-based workflows for project implementation.
• Design Salesforce solutions aligned with best practices and project goals.

Requirements:

• 0–2 years of experience as a Salesforce Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in Salesforce cloud implementations (Sales, Service, Community) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, Force.com API, and related technologies is preferred.
• Knowledge of programming languages like C or Java and databases is required.
• Strong systems thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in both large and small teams.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
• Preferred Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I.
