Jai Kisan is hiring for the role of Software Engineer in Test!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Being the role model individual contributor and responsible for designing the Automation. Framework Development (API & Appium) on both Mobile & Web.
• Testing Backend APIs and front-end applications using either Black Box Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Smoke Test, Ad-Hoc Test, Sanity Test, etc.
• Reviewing peer code and mentoring Juniors in the team.
• Setting up Jenkins, & CI/CD End-to-End Pipeline with Jenkins and Docker and publishing the report.
• Programmatically performing both Performance & Security testing of all the modules owned.
• Being responsible for release management.
• Understanding the business requirements and creating appropriate test scenarios/test plans and test strategies.
• Reporting, documenting, and reproducing bugs with evidence and re-tractability, to help the development team to understand and solve bugs faster.

Requirements:

• An Ideal candidate should have 3-6 years of experience in Software Testing.
• Should have experience performing UI Automation, API Automation, and Appium Automation.
• Should have mobile testing experience with strong basics, an understanding of the mobile OS, and excellent debugging skills.
• Creating and implementing test plans and test strategies for projects.
• Should have Functional, nonfunctional, and analytic skills.
• Experience in creating test automation frameworks and self-serve tools.
• Ability to learn new technologies very quickly.
• Desired Skillset:
  • Automation tools include Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Appium, and Cucumber framework
  • Experience with relational/non-relational databases and SQL/no-SQL queries.
  • Project management tools like Jira.
  • Sharp analytical abilities, proven design skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • knowledge of git actions is an additional advantage
