Software Engineer III Job in Bangalore at Walmart

Walmart is hiring for the role of Software Engineer III!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Code, test, and deploy cutting-edge software solutions at scale.
• Collaborate with senior team members in gathering requirements, participating in design discussions, and contributing to the end-to-end development process.
• Interact with Walmart engineering teams globally, leveraging expertise and actively contributing to the tech community.
• Develop and support products from inception to end-user delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline with 3 to 6 years of core software product development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in computer science, including algorithms, data structures, databases, and operating systems.
• 3 or more years of hands-on experience with Python, React, and databases (SQL, No-SQL), including API development.
• Proficiency with Python libraries such as Pandas and Numpy, and hands-on experience in developing web applications using FastAPI.
• Working experience with the Polars library is a plus.
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing platforms, such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or similar, is advantageous.
• Self-motivated learner and builder with a strong customer focus and a commitment to quality.
• Experience with dev-ops, including CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes, is a plus.
