Nike is hiring for the role of Software Engineer II-ITC!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Build and enhance backend services and APIs for modernization initiatives
• Contribute to frontend development using Node.js and modern frameworks where needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and migrate legacy components
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes
• Ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, security, and scalability
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code to support data ingestion, transformation, and validation within the Databricks environment, ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Learn and apply emerging technologies to support Nike’s future-ready vision

Requirements:

• Java and microservices architecture
• API-first design (REST/GraphQL)
• AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, S3)
• CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• 2–5 years of software engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Familiarity with event-driven systems, serverless-first concepts, and basic data streaming
• Practical experience with Databricks, SQL, and PySpark for building and optimizing scalable data workflows
• Interest in AI/ML integration and emerging tech trends
