Walmart is hiring for the role of Software Engineer II!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, architect, and develop software solutions in collaboration with business and development teams.
• Participate in defining cutting-edge fintech solutions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to solve complex challenges.
• Code, test, and deploy software solutions at scale.
• Gather requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the tech community.
• Develop and support products end-to-end.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3-6 Years of experience in core software product development.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, databases, and operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with Python, React, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and API development.
• Experience in implementing UI using React and related libraries.
• Knowledge/hands-on experience with Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy) and FastAPI.
• Working experience with the Polars library is a plus.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Self-motivated and customer-focused with a strong commitment to quality.
• Experience with DevOps (CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
