Media Iq Digital is hiring for the role of Software Engineer II!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• You will identify & evangelize frameworks and methodologies for building highly available, high-performance systems.
• You ensure that design/architecture documents incorporate these practices and introduce new tools and methodologies when appropriate to simplify or increase efficiency of development.
• You’ll drive evaluation of new tools via POCs and continuously evaluate how the team operates in different areas of software engineering.
• You will Initiate changes necessary to move the team a step higher in adopting best practices and critique the software product design and architecture and contribute to its evolution from the inception.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years experience developing with an Object Oriented Language (Java, C++).
• Excellent grasp of at least one language.
• Excellent understanding of algorithm & data structures.
• Good knowledge of the Linux environment.
• Good understanding of UI technologies such as Javascript, jQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS.
• Good understanding of multi-tier web applications, experience working on all layers of the stack is a plus.
• Exposure to HLD, LLD
• Good understanding of Distributed systems is a plus.
• Good understanding of cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure is a plus
• Hands on product development experience using Java or Kotlin and good understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
