Walmart is hiring for the role of Software Engineer! 

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge applications that align with and surpass business and company requirements.
• Work collaboratively with team members to establish best practices and define technical specifications for software development.
• Design and implement scalable business applications using open stack technologies.
• Engage with both upstream and downstream development teams to ensure cohesive representation in business applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Business, UX) to enhance product development.
• Liaise with Walmart engineering teams across different locations to share expertise and contribute to the tech community.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the software and improve its performance.
• Assist in mentoring and training team members to ensure they are proficient in using software applications.

Requirements:

• A degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/MBA), with a preference for Computer Science.
• 0 to 1 year of experience in data engineering and frontend development.
• 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, ReactJS, Node.js, or other frontend technologies.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably GCP).
• Basic knowledge of code and design reviews, along with related processes and tools.
• An understanding of basic finance business functions and financial reporting.
