Shaadi.com is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and related technologies.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Implement and maintain database schemas, data models, and access patterns for optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in backend development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with asynchronous programming and promises.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API design principles.
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including database design and query optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
