Relx is hiring for the role of Software Engineer I !

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Write and review sections of detailed specifications for developing system components of simple complexity
• Complete simple bug fixes
• Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews under the guidance of senior-level engineers
• Operate in different development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders
• Resolve basic technical issues as needed
• Stay updated on new technology developments
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Python Developer
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Working knowledge of API integration
• In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks, and tools such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, FAST API, Django, etc
• Experience with popular Python frameworks such as Django, Flask or Fast API
• Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL
• Excellent problem-solving ability with solid communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of AWS, DOCKER, LAMBDA Functions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills including the ability to co-operate with multiple parties and align on priorities
• Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with XML technologies such as XSLT, DTD, Schema, etc
• Knowledge Agile Methodology
