Microsoft is hiring for the post of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Writing clean, well-thought-out design and code with a focus on quality, simplicity, and maintainability.
• Putting customer’s perspective and experience first when designing systems.
• Communicating effectively and collaborating with other disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions from envisioning to deployment to live site reliability.
• Driving improvements with design reviews, code reviews, and test case reviews.
• Understanding and adapting to new technologies, tools, methods, and processes from Microsoft and industry.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • 3+ years of solid Design/Development/Testing experience using various technologies.
• Engineering Practices:
  • Good experience in Requirement/Design/Code Review & Inspection practices
  • Experience with any of the following testing: performance testing, security testing, privacy testing, accessibility testing.
• Other skills:
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and strong interpersonal skills.
  • DevOps experience with a strong passion for live site reliability.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a solid understanding of testing practices.
  • Excellent communication & cross-group collaboration skills.
• Skills (Nice to Have):
  • Knowledge of .Net, C#, and Microsoft Azure technology.
  • Good understanding of agile development practices.
• Personal Screening (Cloud Screening): 
• The ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role.
