About this Job
Google is hiring for the position of Software Engineer, Google TV OS
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Write product or system development code to build Google TV OS core services.
- Review code developed by other Engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, maintainability and efficiency).
- Work with Product Managers, team leads, and other internal/external stakeholders to refine feature requirements and deliver engineering solutions.
- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
- Triage and resolve product or system issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience building developer tools (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design, test automation frameworks)
- Experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, and/or debugging
- Experience with Android application development.
