Google Inc. is hiring for the role of Software Engineer - Google TV, Android!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Write product or system development code to build Android TV operating system core services like Android TV remote service (e.g., Voice), Virtual Remote (VR), HDMI Consumer Electronics Control Speech (e.g., Katniss, Lab assistant, Project Athena) Hardware Requirements (e.g., Bluetooth).
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, maintainability, and efficiency).
• Work with Product Managers, team leads, and other internal/external stakeholders to refine feature requirements and deliver engineering solutions.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Triage and resolve product or system issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
