Microsoft is hiring for the position of Software Engineer (Full Stack / Front End)!
- Deliver video experiences that are highly crafted and rewarding for users.
- Collaborate with web, design, and product teams to ensure the goals of the product are aligned with the delivered feature or service.
- Deliver experiences that are user-focused and adhere to accessibility standards.
- Work with the product development team in driving innovative approaches to solving complex problems.
- Maintain code standards regarding quality, privacy, accessibility, security, documentation, etc.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of front-end web development experience (HTML, Javascript, CSS, Usability Testing).
- Experience using a modern Javascript Framework (React, Vue, Angular).
- A strong working knowledge interfacing with REST APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to debug and troubleshoot Javascript and UI/CSS issues and knowledge of optimizations for high-performance user experiences.
- Working knowledge of building rich multimedia experiences on web.
- Developing features and experiences for large-scale, cross-browser applications across both mobile and desktop.
- Experience with TypeScript
- A working knowledge of CI and CD pipelines in a development cycle.
- Experience building accessible applications that follow WCAG and ADA specifications
