Principal Global Services is hiring for the role of Software Engineer (Frontend Developer)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Developer role is responsible for developing, testing and maintaining the application/s with established processes.
• Develop and maintain technical designs based on requirements
• Develop application code for programs while following coding standards
• Develop and execute unit tests
• Complete Analysis & documentation as required by the project
• Support application testing and resolve test defects
• Report status updates as required by the project
• Follow established project execution processes
• Get actively involved in Training, self-development & knowledge sharing
• Build holistic understanding of applications & underlying domain being supported.
• Diagnose and resolve medium and complex system problems and issues reported by business by referring to system documents.
• Provide training to new team members and other teams on business processes and applications
• Provide permanent resolutions for repeating issues. Build automation for repetitive tasks.

Requirements:

• HTML, CSS and front-end JavaScript experience
• Experience theming and supporting a content management system
• Drupal theming and configuration
• Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2
• Web components design/design systems
• Jest/Nightwatch.js/Happo
• Node
• CI/CD tooling, example: GitHub Actions
• Cloud platforms, example: Pantheon and AWS
• Strong technical skills. Knowledge of SDLC. Good aptitude, positive attitude, strong reasoning and communication skills. Must be a good team player.
• Good analytical skills, research oriented. Good time management skills. Good learnability and quick grasping, stretch mindset.
