Broadcom is hiring for the role of Software Engineer - Driver Development!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Assist in development, enhancement, triage, and debugging of the Software Driver Modules based on Linux / FreeBSD operating systems.
- Analyze & resolve customer & internal reported issues.
- Work on various development tasks such as feature unit testing, integration testing, build, and release.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree: EE or ECE or CS degree
- 2+ years of experience in Software Driver development activities.
- Strong hands on experience in Device Driver development on Linux / FreeBSD platforms.
- Excellent programming skills: C / C++
- Experience on build automation using bash / perl / python will be an added advantage.
- Should be able to work under limited supervision of Technical Lead / Project Manager.
- Should be a good team player.
- Exposure to Network stack and protocols will be an added advantage.
