Software Engineer - Core Platform Engineering Job in Pune at UBS

UBS is hiring for the role of Software Engineer - Core Platform Engineering!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and maintain core components of the IDP
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration
• Enhance UI/UX for improved user experience
• Promote platform adoption through training and documentation
• Identify and implement new features and enhancements
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends
• Engage with stakeholders to drive change and adoption

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in TypeScript and one or more languages (Java, Python, ReactJS)
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and functional programming concepts
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch) and cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker)
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles (preferred)
• Understanding of UBS internal processes and SDLC (preferred)
