JP Morgan Chase & Co. is hiring for the role of Software Engineer - Cloud Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are. met by software code development
• Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
• Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ Years of strong experience in developing enterprise software and proficiency in multiple technologies, preferably Java/J2EE and Python
• Practical experience in developing applications on platforms on AWS
• Strong experience in developing and architecting cloud-native applications with AWS services
• Hands-on experience in ECS, EKS, Lambda, SQS, Aurora, API Gateway, Glue, MSK, Resiliency Implementations
• Proficiency in setting up alerting and monitoring tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, etc.
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline preferably including Jenkins & Spinnaker and Version Control tools. (BitBucket, GIT)
• Ability to conceptualize and collaborate with a team to develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
• Demonstrated ability to understand new architectures and designs quickly and proficiently
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
