Software Engineer - Backend Job in Pune at Autodesk Inc

Autodesk is hiring for the role of Software Engineer - Backend! 

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Participate in the design, implementation, testing and maintenance of the application
• Produce clean, secure, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and documentation efforts
• Understand event-driven architectures and apply them to software development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and timelines
• Use cloud technologies, including AWS services such as S3, OSS, and RDS, for scalable and reliable solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in software development with proficiency in web and cloud technologies
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, and algorithms
• Proficiency in Java/NodeJS and developing RESTful web services
• Working knowledge in database technologies e.g. MySQL, MongoDB
• Experience with build and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Excellent debugging skills and troubleshooting complex software issues
• Understanding of event-driven architecture principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum framework
• Experience in logging and monitoring technologies such as Splunk
• Familiarity with CAD software and concepts
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React
• Exposure to cloud services such as AWS with a focus on storage and compute
• Understanding of WebGL and 3D graphics programming
• Understanding of Discrete Event Simulation
