Natwest Group is hiring for the role of Software Engineer, AVP!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Focusing on the production management and enhancement of the reporting of the Run the Bank and Change the Bank projects on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for diversified business teams.
• Working in permanent teams on the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning.
• Collaborating to optimize our software engineering capabilities.
• Designing, testing, and implementing our working code.
• Moving across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment, and operations.

Requirements:

• A background in working with code repositories, bug-tracking tools, and wikis and designing and implementing APIs
• Coding experience in multiple programming languages
• Knowledge of relational, in-memory, distributed, and NoSQL databases
• An understanding of DevOps, Agile practices, Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, and CI/CD
• Experience in using AWS Cloud services, such as S3, EMR, Athena, and Lambda
