Software Engineer- Automation Testing Job in Mohali at Orbit & Skyline

Orbit & Skyline is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for maintaining and expanding the capabilities of an automated test system for the acquisition software.
• Create and maintain CI/CD Pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate the test, and deployment processes.
• Design, develop, and execute automation tests using the NUnit framework.
• Responsible for writing C# test cases in NUnit against WPF view model interfaces.
• Understand SEMI equipment tool control SW (robotics, motion systems, cameras, optical measurement equipment).
• Troubleshoot and debug test failures, analyze results and report defects.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and increase our confidence with each release iteration. Identify key areas worth focusing on for automated testing to increase test coverage.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Document test results, findings, and recommendations for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to software quality assurance. Implement best practices to enhance the overall quality of our software products.
• Monitor and maintain test environments and build servers to ensure they are up-to-date and functional.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT or related engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the same domain.
• Understand ADO pipelines and define new pipeline activities.
• Experience with NUnit Framework and C# Programming.
• Proficiency in reading and modifying Windows PowerShell scripts.
• Experience in software quality assurance, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
