Software Engineer - AI & ML Job in Bangalore at NTT DATA

NTT Data is hiring for the role of Software Engineer - AI & ML!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for machine learning techniques.
• Analyze and evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas where machine learning can be leveraged to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making.
• Work with engineering-leads to design and develop machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems, such as recommendation systems and computer vision models.
• Collect, clean, and preprocess (label and annotate) data from various sources to train machine learning models.
• Train, validate, and fine-tune machine learning models using appropriate algorithms and techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI & ML, Data Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in creating training data sets, labeling and annotating data sets for Machine Learning projects
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and frameworks
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming language needed for Machine Learning
• Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks, like TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Solid knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques
• Familiarity with any cloud platforms like AWS or GCP, and experience deploying and managing models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred:

• Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience working on AI and ML projects in a professional setting
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques for communicating machine learning results
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision techniques
• Understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or DevOps
