EY is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work across EY GDS global delivery teams in service areas like Digital, Testing, Data & Analytics, Oracle, SAP, Cyber Security, and Technology Risk.
• Deliver technology consulting solutions that solve complex business problems using modern tools and architectures.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end technology-enabled transformation for clients.
• Build scalable and cloud-native applications leveraging .NET, Java, AI/ML, DevSecOps, and data platforms.
• Provide quality assurance by contributing to functional, process, and user–acceptance testing.
• Support agile project delivery, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demos.
• Innovate by applying emerging technologies (IoT, AR/VR, Blockchain) in real-world business contexts.
• Analyze client data and processes to recommend actionable improvements and optimizations.
• Maintain technical documentation while adhering to development and delivery standards.
• Build cross-border partnerships and work with distributed teams for global project execution.
• Continuously learn about and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering / B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 60% academic score with no active backlogs.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and software engineering best practices.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, .NET, or Python.
• Familiarity with data analytics, databases (SQL, Oracle, Teradata) or modern data platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Previous internship or academic project experience in technology is beneficial.
• Agile mindset with flexibility to work in fast-paced, changing environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in global teams.
• Curiosity about and willingness to work with emerging technologies.
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn.
