Pegasystems is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop & Deliver: Design, build, test, and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and related technologies.
• Collaborate: Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with REST services.
• Architect: Build reusable, modular UI components, applying best practices for scalability and maintainability.
• Test & Validate: Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure robust and reliable applications.
• Enhance UX: Focus on usability and accessibility, ensuring every feature improves the user journey.
• Innovate: Stay current with emerging frontend frameworks, tools, and practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Document: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for UI components, workflows, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of professional experience in frontend development and Core Java.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, Redux, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with React Hooks, component lifecycle, and state management.
• Solid foundation in Core Java, with the ability to contribute to backend features when required.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and building responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs.
• Proficiency with Webpack, Babel, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of accessibility (WCAG standards).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
