BT Group is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualise KPIs and support business decisions.
- Create and manage Power Apps solutions for internal process automation and data collection.
- Develop and maintain ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data sources.
- Write Python scripts for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Assist in maintaining data integrity, documentation, and reporting accuracy.
- Continuously explore ways to automate repetitive business tasks and improve workflows.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Python for data wrangling and basic automation.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI – building reports, data modeling, and DAX.
- Experience with Power Apps for low-code app development.
- Understanding of ELT concepts and tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS, custom Python ELT).
- Strong foundation in data analysis, statistics, and data visualization.
- Familiar with relational databases and SQL.
- Good communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms.
