About this Job
Akamai is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Creating and enhancing features and functionality, from conception and design through to testing and deployment
- Partnering with engineering peers, system architects, and program managers to deliver to mission-critical data systems
- Becoming a subject matter expert by gaining deep knowledge of related open-source technologies.
- Working with our development and system QA teams to create regression tests covering changes to our software
Requirements:
- Work with front-end frameworks like ReactJS, Angular, and similar technologies.
- Have exposure to container technologies like Docker, and Kubernetes
- Have exposure or interest in working with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Be a quick learner who loves to explore new technologies and frameworks
