Prodigal Tech is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• You will be writing code and deploying these to enterprise-grade applications to production
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components and services within the Prodigal platform. 
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform by optimizing existing systems, adding new features, and ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Experience with tech stack including Python, Golang, MongoDB, Nodejs, Databricks (or any other Data lake/warehousing).
• Conduct performance analysis, capacity management and troubleshoot large scale distributed systems
• Accountable for non-functional aspects of the services and strive to improve on key technical metrics
• Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit, integration, and regression capabilities
• Ensure the quality of architecture and design of systems. Able to to work on end-to-end systems and high-level design/low-level design.

Requirements:

• B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. (Tier 1 colleges are preferred)
• 1+ year of experience in designing and building distributed systems, microservices architecture, or working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong expertise in developing scalable, secure, and highly available software applications.
• Practical experience with AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools.
• Exposure to logging and monitoring tools such as Sentry, CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, etc.
• Self-starter and self-learner, who never settles, is ready to jump into a variety of technologies and languages and is able to coordinate and collaborate with other team members
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment while continuously evaluating emerging technologies
