Software Engineer Job in Hyderabad at UBS

UBS is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop and maintain the core components of our IDP, ensuring its stability, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate our Platform with existing systems and tools
• Implement UI / UX enhancements to improve the overall user experience of our platform
• Champion the adoption of our platform among internal developers across the bank through training, documentation, and support
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our portal by identifying and implementing new features and enhancements
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the developer experience space
• Be an agent of change by engaging and partnering with stakeholders across multiple lines of business.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of TypeScript and relevant frameworks (e.g. ReactJS)
• Experience with Azure cloud services (or comparable cloud architectures)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
• Experience with PostgresSQL, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and other cloud-native infrastructure technologies preferred
• Test automation skills (TDD, BDD; relevant tooling e.g. Jest, Playwright, K6)
• UI/UX design skills are a plus
• Ability to design systems and develop code applying best practices
• Curiosity and willingness to learn, continuously improve, and stay up to date with emerging technologies and patterns
