Bestex Research is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop software components for a core trading system, including:
• Use C++17 as the primary programming language for all development tasks
• Focus on high-performance, low-latency, and reliable code suitable for financial trading environments.
• Apply modern C++ programming techniques, design patterns, and best practices
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure system robustness and maintainability
• Handle integration with external APIs, real-time data feeds, and exchange protocols
• Test and debug components, ensuring conformance with exchange requirements and handling edge cases such as missing data or network issues
• Use build tools like CMake and optimise for the target hardware environment when necessary

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience with C++
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/UDP) and multithreading
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate ideas
• An attitude of constant curiosity and growth, as well as the ability and desire to mentor others
• Degree in Computer Science or similar field from a reputable institution.the following are not required, but a combination of these skills and experiences is highly desirable:
• Prior experience working with market data, FIX, and other exchange connectivity protocols
