DHL is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!
Responsibilities of the candidate:
- Interact with business stakeholders and other technical team members to gather and analyze business application requirements.
- Design integration solutions to satisfy application (business and technical) requirements.
- Implement integration solutions using WebSphere Message Broker, ITX and WMQ.
- Provide assistance to the test teams and support teams as appropriate.
- Provide written status reports with regard to project status, task, and issues/risks.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in IBM WTX, ITX 10, and WMQ.
- Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL and UNIX shell scripting.
- EDI & Data Formats: Familiarity with EDI industry standards and various data formats, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, ROSETTANET, TRADACOMS, XML, IDocs, and proprietary formats (Fixed Length, Delimited).
- Communication Protocols: Solid understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, FTPS, AS2, and plain FTP.
- Cloud Knowledge: Experience with Azure is highly valued.
