Equifax is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!
Responsibilities of the candidate
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications on GCP
- Enhance existing applications and contribute to new initiatives leveraging cloud-native technologies
- Implement best practices in serverless computing, microservices, and cloud architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high development and security standards
- Provide technical oversight and direction for Java and GCP implementations
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on Java development
- Proficiency in modern Java development (JDK 17+) and cloud computing concepts
- Experience with GCP or other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD)
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including continuous integration and automated testing
