Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- You will implement game features according to design specifications.
- You will improve code for performance, focusing on reducing load times and improving frame rates.
- You will participate in code reviews and retrospectives and improve our code bases and
- processes.
- You will participate in technical discussions that help us plan our big tech-driven features and roadmap.
- You will write good documentation and follow coding standards.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency in C++.
- 1+ years of experience preferably in the video games industry.
- Experience working with large codebases.
- Experience working with game engines like Unity, Unreal.
- Knowledge of Android and iOS development.
- Experience in version control tools (Git, Perforce, etc.)
- Be open to diverse perspectives, debate your ideas and get behind the team's vision.
- Be collaborative, authentic and committed to quality.
- Be biased towards action and see things to completion.
- Be observant and nudge our teams to iterate and improve
