Ford is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for SAP MMP processes.
• Define test cases, perform automated and manual testing, record results and work with users to obtain sign-off for successful testing.
• Perform various testing types, including functional, regression, integration, dry run, and end-to-end testing for SAP MMP, STP, and PTR modules.
• Identify, document, track, and resolve defects using established defect management processes.
• Collaborate with PDO teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting test coverage, defect status, and overall quality assessments.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and release planning sessions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Carry out fault diagnosis relating to moderately complex problems, reporting the results of such diagnosis clearly and concisely.
• Produce system integration reports as required by the project integration plan.
• Interpret and execute sets of moderately complex test scripts using agreed methods and standards.
• Check test results, and documents test failures and successes compared with predetermined criteria, under agreed standards.
• Report test results to the supervisor and/or other colleagues clearly and concisely.
• Analyze test requirements, designs and builds simple test case suites, test scripts, and test procedures (with expected results) to be executed by less experienced colleagues.
• Use normal operating facilities, test scripts, diagnostic tools, technical manuals and systems documentation to identify, diagnose and report on basic system errors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1 cycle of SAP S/4HANA implementation (MM/PP-DS/IPPE/PLM/ECM) preferred.
• 1 year of automation testing tools such as TOSCA, Tricentis, UFT, Selenium, or similar platforms.
• 1 year of experience in performance testing and the ability to optimize testing processes for better results.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide detailed and actionable test reports to stakeholders.
