Pitney Bowes is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Build optimized, scalable, and modular software using the required technologies.
- Develop and code back-end components and connecting applications to other web services.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
- Evaluate and incorporate new technologies
Requirements:
- Rich experience in developing Enterprise products.
- 2+ years of experience with Golang.
- Prior experience of working on Python core modules like (PyQT5, pandas, sqlalchemy) microservices.
- Experience working with Agile teams.
- Should have expertise in implementing microservices for Enterprise Products.
- Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases, ability to write complex queries and optimize them.
- Should have good knowledge of Unit Testing frameworks and should be able to write Unit test cases for any new code.
- Good knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, RKT, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Knowledge of CI/CD systems (Gitlab, Jenkins, etc.)
- Basic experience working with AWS Cloud.
- Basic understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Sumologic, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.
- Basic understanding of tools such as Prometheus etc.
- Knowledge of building desktop-based Windows applications
