Michelin is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Following Lean & Agile methods, quality and security (SecByD) rules, and state-of-the-art DevOps practices under the supervision of senior and lead engineers:
• Complete testing and debugging.
• Maintain and improve software.
• Provide technical support by diagnosing and solving simple incidents.
• Answer easy technical questions.
• Implement minor changes to existing applications.
• Carry out associated documentation.
• Functional and Technical Specifications:
• Provide a great User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) by working closely with business partners or UX/UI experts.
• Adapt functional and technical specifications to meet business needs.
• Controls and Testing:
• Build, execute, and optimize unit tests and unit plans to ensure quality, security, and consistency.
• Detect, understand, analyze, report, and solve malfunctions, incidents, and bugs.
• Solution Deployment and Operation:
• Contribute to change management, communication, and training.
• Build automated deployments.
• Support the solution, especially in product mode.
• *Beautiful code is showable, useful, generic, sustainable (easy to maintain, scalable, reusable), shareable, elegant (like an essay, "bookish", minimal), pleasurable, efficient, concise, and readable.
• Clean code adheres to writing standards (searchable names, short functions, etc.), code patterns (architecture/design at all scales), practices (testing & refactoring), and code discipline (SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, TDD, etc.).

Requirements:

• Any graduate; Engineering graduate preferred
• Basic understanding of programming
• Fundamental knowledge of IT
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
