Light & Wonder is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Understand the requirements and develop games for mobile devices (Android & iOS platforms)
• Write high-performance, scalable, and generic code using OOPS concepts
• Debug and fix bugs in developed software
• Participate in design discussions and come up with an optimized approach to developing the games
• Document necessary information and share key learnings with the team

Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of software development experience
• Be proficient in any object-oriented programming language like C++, C#, Java, etc
• Demonstrate strong understanding of OOPS concepts
• Possess good knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Exhibit good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Show good written and verbal communication skills
• Have previous gaming experience and familiarity with Unity engine (pluses)
• Be able to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision
• Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Have at least 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on C# Unity or C#.net
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of C# programming language, Unity game engine or .NET framework, and related development tools
• Have experience with agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, and project management tools
• Possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
