Carelon Global Solutions is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Monitor the end-to-end data pipelines
• Develop and modify common frameworks for enhancements
• Understand system design and architecture
• Design and optimize strategies for pipelines handling massive amounts of data
• Model data involving structured and unstructured databases
• Optimize queries, provide 24/7 support, and be willing to work in shifts
• Implement cloud technologies

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of programming experience in Hadoop, Spark, Scala, and Python
• Critical thinking and a passion to learn and deliver
• Hands-on experience in Big Data and Cloud Technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Unix, SQL, Python, Python Flask API, Hive, HQL, Shell/Bash scripting)
• Basic understanding of cloud computing fundamentals (AWS)
• Basic understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases
• Good written and spoken communication in English
• Experience in API/Micro development
• Knowledge of data engineering basics
• Develop with Python
• Understanding of Data Warehouse concepts with some experience in college projects
• Knowledge of big data technologies
• Hands-on expertise in Python, Scala, and Java programming Must have worked on Jupyter Notebooks, IntelliJ, or Anaconda environments
• Preference given to candidates who have completed additional programs in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
