Lloyds Technologies is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure Java applications for banking systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Work on the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues to maintain a reliable and efficient banking platform.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of Java applications in the banking environment.
- Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard sensitive financial data and customer information.
- Experience in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frameworks/libraries would be an added advantage.
- Exposure to AIX, ITIL Process, and Infrastructure operating systems.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Ability in problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering
- Proficient in Java development, core Java concepts, design patterns and Web services Rest / SOAP
- Strong experience in using Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar technologies
- Hands-on experience in Reacts, MongoDB, Jenkins, Git Hub, Splunk and Confluence
- Expertise in Microservices architecture
- Good experience in relational databases and experience in writing optimized SQL queries
