Lowe's is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and develop applications, this will include both backend and frontend development.
• Develop and maintain of microservices, standalone applications, libraries etc.
• Work on a cloud platform which includes development, deployment and monitoring.
• Work on the database when needed
• Be ready to give all the support that the application needs once its in production, including being on call during the week or weekend as needed by the project.
• Debug production issues and come up with multiple solutions and have the ability to choose the best possible solution
• Be well-versed with documentation (including different UML diagrams)
• Focus on quality and time to market.
• Be very proactive and ready to work on any given task
• Do multitasking and should be quick to adapt the changes in business requirements.
• Provide out-of-the-box solutions for a problem.
• Communicate effectively within the and outside team.
• Align with the team and be a good team player

Requirements:

• Java, reactive programming, Spring boot, Node JS, Angular, SQL, JPA,
• Cloud-based development and deployments, Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, basic network configuration knowledge, linux, different application servers, GIT, Bitbucket, Splunk, Kibana, JIRA, Confluence.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development and maintenance.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in database technologies
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with defect or incident-tracking software
• Minimum of 2 year of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with technical documentation in a software development environment
• Working experience with application coding/testing/debugging and networking
• Working experience with database technologies.
