Ipsos Research Pvt Ltd is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:                                              

• Reviewing and analyzing system specifications
• Understanding requirements & functional specifications 
• Coordinating with co-developers and other related departments 
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Comply with project plans and deadlines
• Ability to think laterally and contribute to problem-solving
• Well-developed analytical and investigative skills 
• Performance analysis and optimization

Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields
• 1 - 3 years of software development or programming experience 
• Extensive experience in Scala, Spark, PySpark 
• Good knowledge of working in Github, Bitbucket, JIRA
• Knowledge of various AWS services is an advantage
• Knowledge of Python and R is an advantage
• Experience in working with Scrum or other Agile development processes
• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
• Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
• Willing to learn new things
• Good communication skills and a good attitude toward the team 
• Should be a team player
