Software Engineer Internship in Mumbai at Cogoport

Cogoport is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work on multiple projects, coordinate dependencies and interact with internal teams and external partners.
• Develop large multi-tenant applications in Rails.
• Understand Rails best practices and religiously introduce those to the codebase.  
• Build reusable modules and back-end libraries for future use.  
• Translate design and wireframes into high-quality code. 
• Write unit tests and follow those practices religiously.
• Help QAs to write automated integration tests. 
• Stay up-to-date with current and future Backend technologies and architectures.

Requirements:

• Loves coding.
• Demonstrated ability to build complex scalable technology products.
• Should have prior experience working with ROR, React, PostgreSQL and cloud infra.
• Understanding O-Auth2 or JWT (JSON Web Token) authentication mechanisms. 
• Knowledge in using ReactJS or other Frontend frameworks like (Bootstrap)  
• SQL concepts and Understanding of DB Partition strategies.
• Experience in using Active Record Serialize, RSpec and active interaction.
• Knowledge about Asynchronous Networking in Ruby; Refactoring ActiveRecord Models; Background Job processing using Redis and Sidekiq; Writing automated Deployment Scripts using Capistrano, Ansible etc.
• Knowledge of Linux and Git is mandatory.
• Expertise in Data Science and Machine Learning is a plus.
• Expertise in Jenkins, Kubernetes, docker and cloud technology is a plus.
