Intel India is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Developing software libraries that expose silicon features through APIs for easy consumption by partners, open-source communities, customers, and users.
• Creating libraries to enhance functionality, performance, security, reliability, and scalability across various silicon products.
• Engaging in the full software life cycle, including requirements, architecture/design, implementation, testing, validation, integration, benchmarking, and collateral development.
• Collaborating with silicon design teams for codesigning optimized silicon and software solutions.
• Conducting or participating in multidisciplinary research and collaborating with hardware engineers in the development of productivity enhancement layout tools.
• Advising hardware designers on machine characteristics affecting software systems and designing/developing compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.

Requirements:

• Honours degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 3+ years of work experience in Linux application development.
• Excellent knowledge of C/C++ programming, especially in developing multi-core or multi-threaded software.
• Strong knowledge of the Linux operating system.
• Knowledge of TLS, QUIC, and network security protocols, as well as filesystems and databases.
• Experience with asynchronous programming patterns.
• Work experience in security or data compression-related applications/frameworks/libraries such as OpenSSL, Nginx, RocksDB, ZSTD, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and effective communication.
• Discipline and maturity to deliver quality work at all stages of the software development life cycle.
• Track record of innovation and continuous improvement.
