Software Development Test Engineer l (Automation) Job in Gurgaon at Skeps

Skeps is hiring for the role of Software Development Test Engineer l (Automation)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cucumber, Selenium/Playwright, and other relevant tools.
• Implement API testing frameworks using SuperAgent/Axios/Http and other relevant NodeJS libraries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Execute automated tests and analyse results to ensure the quality of the software.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to closure.
• Develop and execute performance and load-testing scripts.
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.
• Maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework.
• Utilize basic Docker commands for container management and testing.
• Work in a Linux environment to perform test-related tasks.
• Ensure test coverage and improve test efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in automation testing using Cucumber
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright for UI testing
• Experience with API testing using Super Agent/Axios/Http and other relevant NodeJS libraries
• Proficient in JavaScript for test script development
• Basic knowledge of Docker for containerized testing environments
• Familiarity with Linux commands and environment
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with other testing tools and frameworks is a plus
• Knowledge of performance and load-testing tools
• Understanding of version control systems like Git
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
