Software Development Engineer (Test) Job at Copado

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Build both end-to-end user interface test automation as well as API test automation with Robot Framework, Python, Copado Robotic Testing, and Copado Explorer.
• Integrate quality gates and tools to Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines.
• Follow up on the test results and quality metrics.
• Carry out exploratory testing to familiarize yourself with the new features and find bugs in them.
• Collaborate closely with your colleagues by, e.g., reviewing their pull requests.

Requirements:

• Robot Framework and Python are the key test automation technical skills
• Testing skills and experience (typically from manual testing, ideally exploratory testing)
• Quality mindset: proud of being a QA professional; takes responsibility over QA; “pulls work” (user stories to be tested), instead of expecting the manager to micromanage and tell what to do next
• Working with CI/CD pipelines
• Salesforce experience is a big plus
• Improving own work, processes, and skills
• Communicating well in written and spoken English in all directions
