About this Job
Akamai Technologies is hiring for the role of Software Development Engineer in Test!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Performing full qualification cycle for software releases which includes gathering specs, developing test plans, running automated/manual tests
- Contributing to test automation framework for both API and UI driven tests
- Designing, developing, and deploying automated system tests to replicate real-world scenarios
- Reviewing and regularly improving test coverage
- Performing for performance, scalability and reliability of security features on Akamai Edge.
Requirements:
- Have Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Be in software testing
- Be knowledgeable in scripting and automation
- Have experience developing automated UI test cases in Selenium or Protractor
- Be passionate about working in a collaborative environment to solve complex problems
