Akamai is hiring for the role of Software Development Engineer II - Test!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Contributing to system test plans to ensure highly effective test coverage
• Reviewing product & system design requirements to verify the accuracy of test plans and test cases
• Creating and deploying automated system tests to replicate real-world scenarios
• Being comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment; Improving testing methodologies/procedures to enhance test automation efficiency
• Taking a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation, and analysis
• Maintaining and enhancing programmatic CI/CD pipeline

Requirements:

• Have 2-4 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Have demonstrated experience in developing test automation in Python, Java or any other language
• Have good understanding on server-side testing, Linux/Unix, and docker
• Have good Understanding around testing Rest Api, postman, Database
• Be passionate about solving large scale distributed systems problems
• Have exposure or interest in working with internet technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc
