Innovaccer is hiring for the role of Software Development Engineer-II (Backend)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and lead the development of various AI products        
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Data Scientists, and Other Engineers to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software products.
• Write clean, efficient, modular and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
• Work with development teams to build tools for repeatable data tasks that will accelerate and automate development cycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and stability.
• Contribute to the overall architecture, design, and development of the backend and frontend (including micro-frontends) stack, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and extensibility of the system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3-5 years of professional experience in developing large scale applications with focus on both backend and frontend.
• Primary: Strong understanding of Python, Django, FastAPI, MongoDB, Snowflake, AWS, and Azure.
• Secondary: Proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript, Git, HTML, and CSS.
• Deep knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax and modern frontend frameworks like React (with Redux).
• Understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and responsive web design principles.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest and writing testable code.
• Familiarity with build tools, package managers, and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm, Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly debug and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver high-quality software solutions within tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical thinking and a data-driven mindset to make informed decisions.
• Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and frameworks, and actively contribute to technical discussions.
