Blitz is hiring for the role of Software Development Engineer - I Platform!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Assist in the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery.
• Collaborate with developers to automate code testing, deployment, and release processes, ensuring streamlined workflows and faster release cycles.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of applications.
• Monitor and maintain logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions to identify performance bottlenecks and proactively resolve potential issues.
• Write and maintain scripts for automating tasks (using tools like Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
• Participate in incident management and troubleshooting issues related to system performance, scalability, and availability.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices to promote knowledge sharing and standardize DevOps procedures.
• Contribute to building a culture of automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across engineering teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ years of full-time or internship experience.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Shell.
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Basic understanding of networking, databases, and system security.
• Interest in automation, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Build QA culture and team from scratch
• Zeal to work in fast fast-paced environment 
• Experience with any CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or container orchestration tools.
• Prior experience with DevOps projects or internships.
