TNS is hiring for the role of Software Development Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- The Software area is responsible for the development of computer programming systems and applications, including the design, coding, testing, and deployment of products and solutions to meet the firm's obligations.
- Design, write, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure Java-based enterprise applications.
- Build reusable code, optimize the speed of applications, implement data protection, and work on data storage solutions.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams, participating in design discussions, testing, deployment, and continuous learning.
- Independently own features from design to implementation, ensuring adherence to coding standards.
Requirements:
- Strong Java/J2EE, Spring (Boot, MVC), REST, JSON, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and experience with NoSQL (Cassandra) is a plus.
- Experience with Kafka, ActiveMQ, or JMS.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, REST, SOAP/XML.
- Linux/Unix, Shell Scripting, Git, Maven/Gradle, Application Servers (Tomcat, JBoss).
- B.E./B.Tech/BS in Computer Science or related field.
