Jupiter Money is hiring for the role of Software Development Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Own and work end-to-end on a product/platform component, alongside Product and Design/UX functions
• Write efficient and readable code
• Algorithm development, implementation, profiling and optimisation of backend components/services
• Compliance with build and configuration management process
• Create and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts
• Design of High Level Designs (HLDs) and Low Level Designs (LLDs) from user requirements

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience building backend microservices
• Coding on the JVM stack using either Java or Kotlin; writes secure, testable, maintainable code with minimal defects
• Ability to convert a design into code and deliver it using software engineering best practices
• Ability to choose the right algorithm, data structure, and design pattern for the given problem statement
• Understands the maintenance characteristics, runtime properties, and dependencies of software; experience with CI/CD stacks such as GoCD, Spinnaker
• Identify software defects by reviewing code, logs, files, metrics, and other common troubleshooting techniques
• Experience working in public cloud such as AWS, familiarity with the Kubernetes ecosystem and monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana and alerting systems are big pluses
